Mattie and the New Camera
Giving the new camera a test drive. I haven't been feeling well since I got this camera and so these are the first pictures I've taken with them. This is our cat, Mattie, and while she may look innocent, she isn't. I still love her, though. These pics are with the flash turned off so that I could get the light from the lamp. I really like how these turned out. I can't wait to get to know this camera more.

Billy Page and Random Thoughts
I want to thank Billy and Laura Page for being such incredible friends to me and Jess. You guys have been cheerleaders from day one. I didn't tell a lot of people about my passion for photography. In fact, the only people reading this blog right now are the few friends and family that I have told. God has blessed us this year and so far Jesse and I have lots of things on our plate for the coming year. I did not expect all of this. Last year I was hoping to get the opportunity to photograph more, meet new people, and just have fun doing what I love. Now Jesse and I are working with Cooper & Co., an awesome new media company that I will mention more as the year progresses. I have several senior shoots coming up, a few weddings on the horizon, some band promos, and much more. I will be saying goodbye to my dear old Nikon 35mm and hello to a new camera very soon. Actually, the Nikon stays. It has gotten me this far. This is my last session with it. It's been fun...
These are new shots for Billy's website. We had so much fun taking all of these. Billy was a real trooper and was willing to do anything I asked of him. We didn't have the greatest weather conditions to work with, but I am still pleased with what we were able to achieve in this session.

My Girls...
These are just a few favorite pics from my lastest session with good friends Shellanie and Arielle. These girls took this shoot very seriously. Jesse and I took two vehicles that were piled with suitcases full of clothes, amps, guitars, etc. This was a blast! Thanks guys! (Note: click on the photo for the best view)

Fun With Editing
I have gotten into a bad habit of posting really late at night when I should be in bed. Anyway, Jesse and I have been having too much fun with various editing software programs lately and so we played around with some pics and stuff. We are loving the "cinescope" feature and how it makes our pics look like movie stills. Too cool! (as usual we recommend clicking on the photo to view it properly)

New Photos Coming Soon!
Jesse and I are really excited about the new year! I am editing some pics right now from a wedding we shot this past weekend and we've got much more to come. I'm so excited about the doors that God has opened for us. I am truly thankful and blessed to have a husband who enjoys doing this as much as I do. I sincerely hope that everyone is having a great year so far. I will post new pics soon!

New Things, New Year!!!
There are lots of new things coming to Lopez Photography for the New Year:
- New website (currently underconstruction)
- Jesse will be shooting with me from now on and will also run the new lighting equipment that we are super excited about testing out!
- We will be intergrating graphic design and photography to come up with some very unique images.
- Our concentration will be on senior portraits, promotional photos for bands and individuals, and tons of experimental photography.
We like to do things a bit differently around here so stay tuned for some new stuff coming very, very soon!
Note: We are looking for a new blogsite as this one does not like to post all of our images and adds a lot of noise to them. Please keep that in mind while viewing. Thanks!
Enjoy these pics from Thanksgiving of my cousin Julie's beautiful twin girls....
