Mattie and the New Camera

Giving the new camera a test drive.  I haven't been feeling well since I got this camera and so these are the first pictures I've taken with them.  This is our cat, Mattie, and while she may look innocent, she isn't.  I still love her, though.  These pics are with the flash turned off so that I could get the light from the lamp.   I really like how these turned out.   I can't wait to get to know this camera more.

Billy Page and Random Thoughts

I want to thank Billy and Laura Page for being such incredible friends to me and Jess. You guys have been cheerleaders from day one. I didn't tell a lot of people about my passion for photography. In fact, the only people reading this blog right now are the few friends and family that I have told. God has blessed us this year and so far Jesse and I have lots of things on our plate for the coming year. I did not expect all of this. Last year I was hoping to get the opportunity to photograph more, meet new people, and just have fun doing what I love. Now Jesse and I are working with Cooper & Co., an awesome new media company that I will mention more as the year progresses. I have several senior shoots coming up, a few weddings on the horizon, some band promos, and much more. I will be saying goodbye to my dear old Nikon 35mm and hello to a new camera very soon. Actually, the Nikon stays. It has gotten me this far. This is my last session with it. It's been fun...

These are new shots for Billy's website. We had so much fun taking all of these. Billy was a real trooper and was willing to do anything I asked of him. We didn't have the greatest weather conditions to work with, but I am still pleased with what we were able to achieve in this session.
